Launch Forms Feature Improvements

• The option to “skip employees who already have a form with an End Date between” for a

recurring schedule form launch has been moved to the “Select Employees” step and can now be

used with all form launch methods.

• The option verbiage has also been updated to ”Only create for users who don‟t have an existing

form with an End Date…”

• If template dates have been provided, these dates will be pre-populated; if template dates are

blank, these dates will be empty

Launch Forms Feature Improvements

• The Select Employees > One Employee option will now only be available for One-time launches

• This option has been removed as a Select Employees option when a form is launched using an

recurring schedule option.

Users launching a form using a Recurring schedule option will now be able use Dynamic Groups

when searching for a Group of Employees and will see an updated UI for the already existing filter

search option.

New Directory Search

The new Employee Directory comes with a modernized user interface that includes additional

advanced search and filter options and improved search results presentation. The new Directory

supports most existing functionality and using the same configuration settings. However, some

older features have been removed and are no longer available in the new UI, including the faces

portrets, photo view, list view, and seating chart.”

Import Recovery

• Better recovery support for asynchronous processing of imports and Service Event Bus events

• In cases a server went down it is important to know how many batches for imports have been

processed and stored on DB for those records we have to send SEB events which would have

been send at the last batch. With this enhancement we allow a recovery of those events with

next import

• Before: No recovery of events possible

• After: Next import will send missing events of stored records of failed import

This update closes a technical gap on batch processing recovery and event generation. Enabling

recovery of events if a crash happens. Functionalities such as Notifications or Intelligent Services

use Events.

Notification Service

Admins now have a central page to visualize all available notifications and enable/disable

notifications at an individual level. 1602 scope covers intelligent services notifications as well as

certain TO DO and Jam actions that send out push notifications to SuccessFactors iOS and

Android applications.

Continuous Performance Management

Continuous Performance Management helps employees and their manager have meaningful and

structured 1:1 discussions, connects those discussions to the SuccessFactors suite, and allows

employees to capture your most celebrated achievements in real-time.

Benefit:

• Create activities to help managers maintain visibility into what employees are working on and provide

structure around 1:1 meetings between managers/employees

• Create topics for discussion in the 1:1 that are outside of what the employee is working on but important

to their overall engagement

• Create lightweight coaching or advice from manager directly to the employee

• Notifications when updates to 1:1 meeting have not occurred and if manager has not met with

employees in a defined period (threshold configurable)

• Capture achievements in real time via Annual Summary view or tag comments as “achievements” from

the activities view

• Group your achievements by time or by goal to gain varying perspectives on the data

• Link activities and achievements directly to performance goals from your default performance goal plan

• End your 1:1 meeting capabilities captures the content of the meeting and allows you to view meeting

history

• Manager transfer capabilities

• When there is a manager transfer, the new manager will have access to the employee's existing 1:1

meeting
