McLachlan & Ann (M&A), Brisbane, QLDM&A is a $250 million residential, commercial and retail development connecting the James Street precinct with the heart of Fortitude Valley. More than 20 per cent of the 6,700 sqm site has been dedicated to public space, including a vibrant laneway and wide roads and footpaths. RPS managed development approvals and provided significant surveying expertise.

Jordan Springs, NSWLocated 7kms from the Penrith CBD and within former Defence landholdings, Jordan Springs is one of the fastest-growing communities in Australia. RPS provided Lend Lease extensive mapping, planning and surveying services to support the initial and subsequent stages of this community which will one day be home to more than 6,500 residents.

Frasers Landing, WA Frasers Landing is a 52 hectare within an ecologically significant Core Conservation Area, less than an hour from Perth. As environmental consultants, RPS has helped Frasers Property Australia with their goal of creating ‘a village in a forest’, recognising the significant vegetation that covers the site. Frasers Landing won the national Award for Environmental Excellence at the 2014 UDIA Awards.

Alkimos Eglinton Growth Area, WARPS has for many years provided economic and property market research and analysis for this 50,000-resident region in Perth’s North West. Services delivered to various clients have included local economic strategies in support of structure plans, housing market analysis and product optimisation, neighbourhood retail centre assessments and employment self-sufficiency and infrastructure impact analysis.

The Village at Yeronga, QLD RPS managed approvals for this award-winning integrated retirement village which was facilitated by overriding the planning scheme and has set a benchmark for aged cared development. It comprises 300 independent living units, a 100 bed nursing home and associated facilities ranging in built form from 3 to 5 storeys.

Yarrabilba, QLDRPS has been involved with Yarrabilba south of Brisbane since 2002, as principal surveyors and also providing employment modelling and development strategies. We supported Logan City Council to prepare a Structure Plan for the area, and are now working with Lend Lease on the urban design, landscape architecture and planning for this community which will one day be home to 50,000 people.

Elizabeth Quay Project, WARPS is the environmental consultant for this major project which will revitalise Perth’s Swan River shoreline. This ‘city-defining’ initiative will connect the city to the river and deliver strong economic and social benefits. RPS has provided environmental services from the initial scoping phases, through preliminary and detailed design, has undertaken technical studies to support the approvals process and is now providing supervision through the construction phase.

Project 177, NSWRPS is working with Leighton Holdings on design and documentation for their new global hub in North Sydney. The $413 million project includes 30 levels of commercial and retail space and will house Leighton’s NSW workforce of 2,500 people. The ground level will provide a vibrant town square setting, comprising a more than double height atrium with a treed lobby lounge and high quality pavements.

Fitzgibbon Chase, QLD Fitzgibbon Chase represented a rare opportunity to create a transit oriented community with affordable housing options on a greenfield site only 12 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. RPS was the lead masterplanning consultant engaged for a major land holding within the Urban Development Area.

Googong, ACTGoogong is a new master planned town for 16000 residents located 27 minutes from the centre of Canberra. The vision is for a vibrant and sustainable community with an economic town centre and strong sense of place. RPS provided the overall sustainability direction to the project team, and managed the feasibility studies, along with managing the planning of all infrastructure.

Dunsborough Lakes, WALocated only metres from the spectacular beaches of Geographe Bay at the northern end of the Margaret River wine region, this premier residential community boasts a world class golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. RPS’ planning, urban design and environment teams have helped shape the development since its inception and continue to play a key role in the master planning and design of the estate’s remaining stages.

Cairns Foreshore Development Cityport South, QLDRPS is the Project Manager and Lead Consultant for the redevelopment of Cityport South Foreshore which aims to create a significant recreational, environmental and social space that attracts visitors and the local community to the waterfront. The project builds on extensive master planning RPS has previously completed for the area’s strategic port land.

Bluewattle, QLDRPS has assisted Defence Housing Australia to set new standards in landscape and urban design at Bluewattle, 20 minutes southwest of the Townsville CBD. The masterplan reflects the dry tropics location and will include a myriad of connected walkways, cycle ways, exercise zones and tropically inspired community spaces, along with water sensitive urban design.

North Lakes, QLDSince the mid 1990s RPS has assisted in creating one of Australia’s finest communities at North Lakes near Brisbane. The town will include 8,500 dwellings, a town centre, retail shopping, restaurants, cafes, business parks, a championship golf course, a lake system providing water quality treatment, walkable networks, playground areas, ovals, childcare centres, primary and secondary schools.

Indigenous Planning Schemes, QLDAs part of the Closing the Gap initiative, RPS is working with numerous Torres Strait island communities to develop statutory compliant Land Use Planning Schemes. This has involved extensive consultation with stakeholders including the councils, traditional owners, local communities and government agencies, along with provision of survey and mapping services.

Surfers Point, WAThe design for Surfers Point at Yallingup, a world famous surfing location, has created a recreation, environmental and tourism precinct, hosting international surfing events. RPS focused on the panoramic views, connection to the coast and celebrating surf culture and local stories. Amenities, parking, a playground and public art are integrated through environmentally sensitive design, while regenerating a fire damaged landscape.
