An amazing water play with giant gushers that spurt towers of water high into the sky will be created as the centrepiece of Providence’s rst stage of parklands. Combined with the adjoining adventure play area the new destination will be known as Providence “Splash’n’Play”.
Children of all ages will be able to cool o as they race through a maze of aqua arches, “misty mountains” and gushers that spurt unexpectedly from the ground.
Ripley Valley’s rst water play parkwill feature a dedicated toddler water
playground, an older children’s zone, and space for adults.
“We’ve designed Splash’n’Play with families in mind,” said Providence Project Director, Michael Khan.
“There’s the toddler area with whimsical water features, including ‘wiggly’ sprayers that little tots can control, as well as the bigger kids zone with 4 metre high water features that shoot water down to the ground.”
Around 80 per cent of the water play area is covered in shade structures, making it a sunsafe place to enjoy the summer.
“As well as shade structures, the park is dotted with trees, creating a cool oasis on warm summer days,” said Michael.
Splash’n’Play will become an iconic heart of Providence’s 200 hectares of parks and reserves which will weave themselves throughoutthe community.
Construction will start in the coming months, with Providence Splash’n’Play open in time for next summer.

Providence development underway
As we commence 2015, it is satisfying to brie y re ect on 2014 as a yearof extraordinary achievements at Providence. It was a year that we commenced site works and soft launched this new town from our temporary sales o ce. Our vision to create a genuine people place that brings back authentic neighbourhood living was enthusiastically embraced by people far and wide. So much so that Providence soon became the second fastest selling new residential community in Queensland and the eighth fastest in Australia†. All this even before the rst roads were sealed or the bridge opened.
Looking ahead, 2015 is shapingup as a year of big celebrations. The opening of the bridge across Bundamba Creek into Providence Parade will reveal all the hard work in creating the rst neighbourhoods of Providence. We have already planted in excess of 10,000 new plants to beautify the area. This year thedisplay village will open, showcasing 24 stunning new home designs from our partner builders. The excitingnew Splash’n’Play and Adventure Playgrounds will open, as will thenew Providence Centre incorporating the Community Centre and Café,creating a vibrant new destinationfor the beautiful Ripley Valley set against a backdrop of mountains.
Most importantly, 2015 will see the rst residents of Providence move into their new homes. Soon the address will be thriving through the commitment of Amex Corporationto create a community that enjoysthe nest quality of life.
I look forward to meeting you soon at Providence at one of our community events planned for 2015.
Warm wishes,Michael Khan Providence Project Director

Ground has broken on the rst display
homes at the Providence Display Village.
Award-winning Australian and Queensland
builders are constructing quality homes
designed for easy modern living.
The Display Village is scheduled to open in
mid 2015 and will showcase 24 designer
homes from Plantation Homes, Metricon,
Simonds, Stylemaster, Ausbuild, Planbuild
Homes, Bold Properties, Hotondo Homes
and Burbank.
The mini-neighbourhood will feature
distinctive homes to suit every budget
and lifestyle.
“There are designs that will suit growing
families and empty nesters,” said
Providence Development Manager,
Russell Dunster.
Designs include homes that meet the
latest design trends and suit a range
of households, lifestyles and budgets.
“The houses are single and double-storey
homes and all are designed for relaxed
alfresco living. All homes at Providence
will feature private open space that opens
to the house and brings the outdoors in;
that’s a cornerstone of our urban design
vision for Providence,” he said.
Competitive land pricing has meant
builders can o er buyers a great range
of house and land packages. While Design
Guidelines are in place to protect the style
and character of the streetscape.

Providence Centre to be the community’s ownAs residents move into Providence and
form tness groups, parents groups and
other community clubs, they will have
access to a newly-built centre, opening later
this year, where they can host regular
events, provide catering and hold meetings.
“The Providence Neighbourhood Centre will
help people develop the connections that
foster a friendly sociable neighbourhood,
and we believe it’s important to provide
that from the early days,” said Community
Development Manager, Stan Salagaras.
A dedicated community liaison o cer will
be working at the Neighbourhood Centre,
beginning when the rst residents are
moving in.
Highly exible access hours and spaces
that can be customised to suit di erent
groups’ needs will ensure that many of the
planned groups will be up and running,
and growing, as the community expands.
The Gallery space in the Centre will also
make a wonderful place to showcase local
artists and displays; from professional
artworks to the burgeoning talents of
kindergarten paintings, to exhibits showing
the heritage and history of the local area.

Ripley Valley’s visionary new town
Hundreds of local people and community leaders have helped to plan the facilities at Providence through a four-month community engagement program called Design Your Town.
Some great ideas were received, which were provided directly to our urban planners, landscape designers and architects to guide their shaping of Providence.
A very strong theme that has shone through is the desire for Providence to be a healthy community that encourages people to get out and about and enjoy the great outdoors.
As a result of your feedback, Providence plans to incorporate:
• An outdoor tness circuit incorporating exercise stations with di erent equipment suitable for adults and children
• Bikeways and walking paths linking the neighbourhoods, schools and town centre
• Discovery trails for nature walks and hiking, with viewing points and shady picnic spots along the way
• Sporting club facilities, including both outdoor and indoor areas
• Activities and spaces for teenagers where they can be independent but also safe
• Plenty of parks, trees and nature, which could be used in both the day and night with lighting.
Providence will grow and evolve over the coming years and there is always the opportunity for you to share your ideas. The planning team is always keen to listen to the voice of the community and encourages you to share your ideas.
Our community has their say
Fast broadband with NBNYour need for speed online will be satis ed from day one at Providence when you can
connect directly to the National Broadband Network. Providence Project Director,
Michael Khan said the NBN was the obvious choice for Providence because it provided
the most exibility for residents.
“People will be able to choose their own provider,” he said, “NBN have advised that
they have agreements with 65 retail service providers (RSP’s) in the Ripley Valley.
This will provide residents of Providence with an abundance of choice.”
“Residents will have direct and easy access to the NBN via their chosen retail provider.”
The NBN will be available in 2015, giving access to the new high-speed bre-optic
network currently being rolled out only in selected areas like Providence around Australia.

Heart & Soul of the Valley
As Queensland students across the state begin a new school
year, planning for Providence’s rst schools is well underway.
“The broad overall plan is two primary
schools and two high schools across the
whole site,” he added. “These will be
complemented by Early Learning Centres”.
For further details on educational opportunities contact Stan Salagaras on 0417 802 813 or [email protected]
Providence’s urban planners have expertly applied Walkable Neighbourhood principles to create a connected community where residents can live a more active life.
A relaxed address where, unlike the
car-dominated suburbs common in most
of Australia, residents can leave the car
at home to walk or ride.
Ultimately, every house in Providence
Central will be no more than a 10 minute
walk to the cafés and supermarket in the
future town centre, and a network of bike
paths means children will be able to safely
cycle to school.
Social and community facilities, including
schools, child care centres and health
services built right next to the town
centre add to the accessibility and feeling
of connection.

Education excellence a priority
An address made for walking
Although the rst residents won’t move
in until later this year, Providence’s
community development team is
liaising with State and Local Government
agencies to plan the delivery of early
educational facilities.
While it’s still early days, the education
vision for Providence is clear. Learning
and education will be embedded
throughout Providence, providing
opportunities for everyone – from
young children, through to teens and
adults of all ages.
“Education is a fundamental driver in
creating good communities,” said
Providence Community Development
Manager, Stan Salagaras.
“Schools are engagement places where
people connect, come together and talk
to each other. The vision is to provide
a range of learning opportunities and
full education services,” he said.

Ripley Valley’s visionary new town
Exceptional value is ahallmark of Providence. Particularly for early buyers who are bene ting fromlow land prices, enablingthem to put more intotheir home.
The rst releases sold out almost
immediately. Park front lots have been
particularly popular with families, and
low-maintenance blocks appeal to
couples who want a spacious house
with minimal outdoor maintenance.
With community demand passing the
most optimistic forecasts, new releases
have been brought forward to meet
people’s needs.
People who have been long-term renters
see the pricing of the house-land packages
at Providence are within their reach,
reigniting the dream of home ownership
in the strong South East Queensland
housing market. With land prices starting
at just $137,000 and ranging up to
$225,000 for the Platinum Collection large
premium park frontage release, Providence

it is envisaged that smart home buyers will
rush to this new release.
