• In Maharashtra, the alignment passes through Dahanu Road, Virar, Vasai Road, Diva and

terminates at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) in Navi Mumbai and with about 18% of

• Four development nodes have been identified in the influence area of the DMIC

• Integrated Townships: This region would be provided with integrated townships with residential, institutional, commercial and leisure/ recreation infrastructure which could be dovetailed to meet the requirements specific investor groups and development requirements

• Development of 3000 MW Power Plant: There is a evaluation being carried out to set up a 3000 MW power plant in Raigad to meet the development requirements envisaged in near future.

• Feeder Road Links: Development of feeder road linkages connecting identified industrial area with NHDP, Hinterlands, inter alia, includes following development proposals

• Augmentation of linkages connecting Alewadi and Dighi ports with National Highway Networks ( NH 3, NH 4, NH 8, NH 17)

• Railway line between Panvel and Mangoan (Konkan rail) is already being converted into broad gauge and being expanded).
