Military Park Building In NewarkThe historic landmark property at 60 Park Place also known as the Military Park Building is among Newark’s most significant office buildings. The property takes its name from nearby Military Park, a six-acre city park. Built in 1926, the building was among the area’s earliest skyscrapers.
New Tenants Lease Up Newark Office Building
Recent leasing transactions have brought the premier office building to full occupancy. 60 Park Place is now home to the following new tenants:
Newark Mentoring Movement, a newly established coalition of youth mentoring programs, leased 1,200 square feet at the Military Park Building.
African Methodist Episcopal Church (A.M.E.) Office of Ecumenical and Urban Affairs leased 1,000 square feet at the Military Park Building.
MB Properties committed to a 600-square-foot lease at the Military Park Building. Sunsoft Services, an IT consulting and strategic outsourcing firm took 525 square feet at

The 250,000-square-foot, 21-story office building has been upgraded with interior renovations to offer tenants modern amenities and quality office space. Recent improvements include a 2,000-square-foot fitness center and a conference room, which features a full kitchenette, audio visual capabilities, wireless internet and meeting space. Both amenities are available free of charge for Military Park Building tenants.
