7 OF THE TOP CAYAN GROUP PORTFOLIO PROJECTS

Cayan Group, which was recently named one of the “Top Real Estate Companies in the Arab World” by Forbes Middle East, formed under unique circumstances compared with many of its competitors. According to Cayan founder and chairman Ahmed Alhatti, he began the real estate group in 2004 simply as a means of developing a handful of properties for his family and friends. Since developing those units, Cayan Group, which is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai, UAE, has expanded considerably, pursuing projects of special interest rather than only those with the highest financial returns. In 2016, the company announced plans to partner with Sarena, a Spanish real estate firm, through which its leaders aim to grow in the European market.

In addition to its new European collaboration, Cayan Group co-sponsored the 2016 Euromoney Saudi Arabia Conference. The company focused on establishing relationships with policy makers and business leaders in the region to help the real estate market continue to flourish.Cayan Group has established its position in the Middle East as a leader in property development. In Saudi Arabia and the UAE, the Cayan portfolio comprises various residential and commercial developments, as well as hospitality projects. The Cayan Tower, for example, now stands as a major landmark in the Dubai Marina. The following list provides more details on some of the achievements and goals of the Cayan Group.

1. CAYAN TOWER

In planning for this project, a committee considered five different design options, and this twisting tower originally ranked third on the list. Cayan Tower, a residential property located in Dubai, now stands as the tallest tower of its kind in the world. Each floor contributes to a total of 90 degrees of rotation from the base to the top, such that guests benefit from a waterfront view in every room. In 2016, Cayan Tower opened a LivNordic Spa as a part of the Cayan Group’s strategy to expand its lifestyle offerings. Toward this end, Cayan has established a subsidiary entity focused directly on hospitality development. For Raison d’Etre, which developed the LivNordic Spa, the tower marks its first franchise in the UAE.

2. CAYAN CANTARA

The Cayan Cantara project features residential apartments constructed with the latest practices in building and design. Two towers joined by a bridge form the development, which houses a wide range of accommodations, from residential dining to personal laundry and dry cleaning. In addition, a fully equipped gym hangs below the tower bridge, adding an unparalleled view to each workout. Cayan Cantara will soon offer a selection of luxurious hotel apartments with one, two, and three bedrooms, as well as a penthouse option. Once complete, the hospitality portion of the development will serve as an ideal destination for tourists on business and leisure trips.

3. CMC TOWER

Located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, CMC is a mixed-use commercial center that is currently under construction. A July 2016 report showed that the project is ahead of schedule and nearing completion, and the Cayan Group has infused its standard of high-quality construction in the architecture of this portfolio addition.

CMC Tower will include 12 floors of luxury office space for business and management, as well as a floor dedicated to retail. Business professionals will benefit from the close proximity of the complex to King Khalid International Airport.

4. CAYAN BUSINESS CENTER

In 2008, Cayan Group completed its namesake business center, adding 12 stories of ultra-modern office space in Dubai. Schuster Pechtold led the architecture design, highlighted by an impressive floor-to-ceiling glass atrium covering leasable units between 3,000 and 12,000 square feet. Individuals who hold meetings in the Cayan Business Center benefit from quick access to Sheikh Zayed Road, which allows for an efficient commute within the district.

5. SILVERENE

Listed in the Cayan residential portfolio, Silverene is a two-tower development located in the Dubai Marina, a popular waterfront area. One of the structures, Tower A, stands at 34 floors, and Tower B at 26 floors in height. Between these buildings, residents will find high-quality living spaces, such as duplexes and penthouses, as well as a state-of-the-art gymnasium, restaurants, and a swimming pool.

6. THE JEWELS

A few years before the completion of Silverene, Cayan Group built The Jewels in the Dubai Marina. The development comprises two separate towers, which mirror each other in size and design. RMJM and Hazel Wong collaborated with Cayan to bring the concept to life, and the result is a set of luxury residences equipped with full-home automation and marble flooring, all complemented by the best in modern accommodations.
