What history means to me

In 8th Grade, I was a student ambassador to the World People to People Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C..

Here I am at the Veterans of the Vietnam War Wall. Tracing off a very special name.

Here is my group leader, Mrs. Karen. Her brother Joseph had died in that war. She wouldn’t go look at the wall, but I traced the impression of his name and gave it to her.

The foundations that have been laid down for our country, and the monumental things that have happened in order for civilizations to be the way they are today- is history to me.
