WHO’S TALKING ON TWITTER AND HOW MANY ARE TALKING BACK?

Tweets posted by and to Republican candidates from June 24-July 24 were examined. Who’s tweeting the most? Trump leads with 855 tweets, followed by Walker, Cruz, Paul, and Graham (~357 tweets each). Who’s tweeting the least? Perry (97) How many people are talking to the candidates on Twitter? Over 3.8M - Trump leads (2.2M), with Cruz (326K) and Walker (210K) following. Perry ranks 8th in number of tweets received, but ranks last among candidates tweeting. Graham ranks high on tweeting (5th) but low on tweets received (14th). Bush ranks 4th in tweets received, but only 11th in postings.
