Pros and cons of having one company delivering the news via different methods
PROS CONS• A company is able to target a larger range
of audiences if they have different ways of distributing their news.
• Different news outlets have different ways on distributing their news e.g. The Sun compared to the Times.
• Everyone is able to access the news in the different ways ( Television, Radio, Online and Print )
• The news that is put online can be Breaking News which is a great way of getting the news out there quickly.
• There is always the same views, Could be biased with the views on the news ( left wing, right wing )
• When the News is received through Radio, Television and Newspaper its not breaking news.
• Because it’s the same company it can be the same sort of news which can become repetitive
• News can be restricted because of the kind of content that company releases
