Over the same period, apparel consumption has grown more than 60%.
“According to the American Apparel & Footwear Assn, the share of domestically produced clothing in the U.S. in 2015 was 2.7%, down from 10.2% in 2005 and 46.2% in 1995.” A collapse of 43.5 points from 1995 to 2015.
CAUSES Backlashing against American brands would be painful for
companies which externalized their productions.

be profitable.
Bringing jobs back to the U.S. would be devastating for a lot of American apparel brands- Contrast : IVANKA TRUMP’S BRAND
FACTS : Fashion is a Global Industry Trump’s Policy might lead to cause a worldwide boycott on US Goods (Closing
Borders, Raising Tariffs) Where Nike or Calvin Klein might potentially survive, Small brands will not.
CONCLUSION No Possibility to re-enter the U.S. !!!
