The date of when the documentary will be on TV
Title that highlights this is a new documentary
Style of fontBold, white writing in capitals so the date is clear and easy to read
Same style of font is used but in a different colour so the title stands out from the rest of the text
Same font used throughout to keep consistency but at different sizes
Photo manipulation
Focus pull is used in this advert as the background is blurred but the camera focuses on the male
Organisation of information
Title is the first thing read as it’s the only text in red
Date is the second thing read
The background would be the third thing the audience looks at
The channel’s website would be the last thing the audience looks at
Layout designSame layout template is used as the text takes up the same amount of space on the screen
Wide shot that shows majority of the background
Content Specific date and time that the documentary will be on
Channel’s website Title that highlights this is a new documentary
The background is a short scene from the documentary
Style of font

Photo manipulation
Background is slightly blurred so the text stands out more
Organisation of information
As usual the title is the only text in red so it would be the first thing read by the audience

Layout design
Simple layout template used with a white background

Same style of font is used but at different sizes based on the text’s importance
Style of graphics
Channel 4 logo is animated and a clip from the TV show is presented inside the logo
Organisation of information
This would be the second thing the audience sees as the only blue text
The sponsors’ logo is placed at the top corner and above the title and time so this would be the third thing
The animated logo would be the first thing the audience looks at as it takes up most of the screen
This is the smallest text so this would be the last thing the audience would realize
This shot is a point of view shot, which gives the impression that the viewer is holding their hand in front on their face, making them feel involved.
The hands are closer to the camera making it appear larger, and giving a feel of perspective.
Natural lighting is present, ensuring the shot looks professional and clear
Here is a similar shot, from the same advert.
•A focus pull is applied to this shot, ensuring the phone stands out.
•Because this advert is advertising a camera of a phone, the focus pulls portrays a camera like feel.
The text at the bottom is fairly clear as it is white and placed on a dark background
The text is placed at bottom of screen, in order that it doesn't cover the image being shown.
Her facial expression is shown to be happy in this photograph, showing she enjoying using the phone
Big Bold writing saying what phone it is that is being advertised. The Boldness captures attention of audience.
Plain blue graphics as background, so audience concentrate on text rather than background.
Image of phone placed at side of screen, so audience are able to see phone properly.
The less important writing is made really small and isn’t white, therefore doesn't stand out as much to the audience.
The writing has red graphics as background, to immediately make it stand out
The graphics then spins and disappears, making it visually entertaining
The font of small size and placed at bottom of screen
The text is white on a dark background to make it observable
Here the have crossed out prices to make it obvious that the wine has been reduced.
Here there is graphics, as the wine moves around the wine glass, making it seem tasty and desirable.
Lastly the advert shows where to purchase the wine from
Although there is green graphics, the picture is also slightly seen behind. In other words the graphics is transparent.
The companies name, is in Bold, and is also the largest text on the screen. Therefore it is in the audiences face.
•This advert has used animation, instead of just using normal people.
•This perhaps makes the advert seem more fun
Here the graphics of the kindle is twisting around, immediately making it more attention-grabbing
Here a split screen is used to show three different types of kindle. This shows the audience many things at once saving time.
Price is placed at the bottom, it is a small size. The black ensures that it is visible against the white background.
The background graphics, matches the season we are in, and makes the advert seen festive
•The companies logo is placed in the centre of screen to give it significance
•The red rectangle behind writing also adds to this.
