Have a mobile Friendly Responsive Website

More and more people are using mobile devices to access the internet. Responsive Websites are mobile friendly. A mobile friendly website has Text that is large enough to readNavigation and links that are easy to touch and click onImages and graphics that are big enough to view and videos that quickly load and play Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla and Squarespace are some examples of Mobile Friendly, responsive website design. Ethan Marcotte coined the phrase Responsive Website Design. Responsive websites have three main components which are fluid grid, flexible images and media queries

Fluid grid is important because it creates a precise fit for the screen of each device by resizing the proportions of each web page image

Flexible images are media that fit the screen size and have correct pixel adaptability

Media queries are an imbedded coding system on the web page that determines what kind of device is being used to access the site and adapts the web page accordingly to this device or be visible, proportioned or omitted on the screen depending on the device. 2https://www.mybizpro.biz/web-design-development/

More individuals will access the internet with Mobile AND Stand Alone Devices

More than ever before individuals are accessing the internet with mobile and stand alone devices. Statistics from a February 2016 e-marketer study indicate that 219 million people will access the internet via desk top and mobile devices in 2017. In comparison, 16.5 million people exclusively use their desktops or laptops to access the internet. It is projected that the number of people who use both standalones and mobile devices to access the internet will steadily increase. 3

Since April 21, 2015 mobile-friendliness is considered a Google Search ranking signal

in May 2015 Google internal data showed that more searches take place on mobile devices than on computers in 10 countries including the US and Japan
