Utopian Marketing

was one in a series

of Social

Responsibility

corporate

postcards.

Postcard design for a

meditation summit. Sofia

University is the only

institution of higher

learning where one can

become a Doctor of

Transformational

Psychiatry; a genre of

psychology that works with

exiting faith paths (though

holds a secular context).

Challenge response

to a logo design for

something more

holistic than simply

recycling.

If you use Facebook you

might appreciate they seem

to be lacking in emoji /

icons.

Here’s my contribution:

Memoriam to Prince.

Vanilla toffee crunch sticker

design, and a humorous take on

how Ben & Jerry could market

their gelato.

Two versions of symbolism for a series of diversity posters.

Core branding poster for

an entrepreneurial,

socially conscious start

up.

Contribution

to a design

challenge to

address rape

culture on

campuses.

Everybody likes free

or cheap food, so why

was this event poorly

attended in the past?

Folks didn’t “digest”

the communication.

Seemed everybody

noticed this poster,

however, and

attendance was up

significantly.

An open ask to design a flag for them, something “fresh”, this was my response.

An underused aspect of the Green Party movement is their staunch stance on peace.

Series Work

books,

book

covers,

packaging

design,

annual

report

spots,

and more

This, and the next six slides, comprise a children’s “board” book. The

notion of a bi-lingual series of animal sound variants around the world

remains a strong idea. My ex and I had just had our child, and she deserves

credit for confirming my research. Contents follow, this is the outer cover.

I did a series of work for

the “Baba community”.

This book cover was a

painting on canvas based

on a sculpture bust I needed

to make as this particular

pose had never been taken

of this subject.

Another book

cover.

Packaging

sketches for

a line of

syrups (that

would all

become a

base for

various

chai’s).

The engineering software

that was behind the Chunnel,

and other projects, had a need

for spot illustrations evoking

communication confusions

(something it’s software

would never do).

This is a bull-frog.

…and this is a bug on a flower.

On something of an

entrepreneurial dare, I

created the Vermont

Leaf Company

out of literally nothing.

Only generating income

during season at this

time, I’ve turned its

operations over to my

daughter.

Mailing label

for birthday

recipients.

Promotional piece.

Book cover for something I published.

Thank You.

This work was originally the backdrop of a website,

but now lives as the backdrop to my art resume.
