Fashion in CanadaCANADAFashion in Canada ranges from variety of different styles. But mainly, Canadians wear

the same kind. Since most of the year its cold, Canadians tend to wear warmer clothes.

What Girls wear:For pants, we wear jeans, or leggings. For shoes people wear, Uggs, combats or Toms.

All girls wear differentstyles of tops, but most commonly, tops are either plain, or have a short saying on

them. If its for something fancy, girls wear dresses or skirts.What do boys wear:For pants, many boys choose to wear Adidas pants ,jeans and similar items. For

shoes, they mainly wear sneakers. And for tops they usually wear shirts with logos on them, or a graphic tee.

Fashion in Ancient Mesopotamia

MESOPOTAMIAFashion in Mesopotamia, was mostly all made of natural resources. They wore clothes

made of flax, or sheep wool. The men wore long gowns from their shoulders to ankles.

Woman wore their hair long and down, braided, or wrapped around their head.Men usually wore their hair clean, or long with a beard.

Some of the rich people wore bright colourful clothing. As did a few of the princesses.

Girls and boys both wore a lot of jewelry. It was very important to them. Mostly it was earrings, bracelets, rings or necklaces. Most of the jewelry that was worn was made out of silver or gold. They were also made of stones. The most precious stones were lapis lazuli and the carnelian. During a celebration or a special event, extra jewelry was worn.

Fashion in Ancient Egypt

EGYPTMost kids under the age of six didn’t wear any clothes. After the age of six

they would start to wear clothes so they could protect their skin from the intense heat.

Men wore very simple outfits. They had worn a shendyt, which is a wrap around skirt. At the waist they would be belted or gathered in the front.

Women wore sheath dresses called kalasiris. They wore dresses that were held up by one or two straps. Over the dress they would wear items of clothes like shawls, robes or a cape.

Fashion In GreeceGREECE

Greek clothes were either homemade, or bought in the angora (market).The clothes were made out of different items depending on the seasons. So in the

summer, they wore light clothes made out of linen. And in the winter the clothes were made out of warm wool. The clothes were dyed bright colours. And some material was bleached to a bright white colour. The clothing was decorated or bedazzled with geometric shapes to represent their city.

Other clothes were just plain and very simple.They also wore hats that were used for traveling. The hats also included a chin strap.Men and women all wore jewelry and perfume. The perfume was made by boiling

flowers.

Vikings

VIKINGSThe vikings wore clothes made from coarse cloth and wool. They were very good at weaving, so they were able to create really nice, fine and strong fabric. They were very expensive. Children and women turned wool into yarn. They used all natural dyes from special plants to give their clothes some colour.

In the winter they hunted animals and used their fur to keep them nice and warm. The skins of the animals were also turned into leather.

Viking men carried belts to keep things in them like knifes.
