Briefing at Shamlaji: Students of IMNU were made aware about poor Human Development Index of rural India and misfortune misreporting of it by poor beurocracy. Importance of correct HDI reporting and tools of it, like HD flower was explained.Students were told how to take survey in coming visits.After that JOURNEY towards Budheli began.

First Glimpse of Budheli:Budheli was small but beautiful village. Hilly view of Aravali and small water stream abulated scenic beauty of village.The village was full of beautifully built temples.The picture shows me walking on the well built permanent road and in the background temple is also of concrete, tall and strong like the faith of cheerful people of small Budheli.

Budheli seemed to be somewhat developed than what one would expect from a typical village of India. There was Health Centre, bus stop, School ( primary and secondary, Park, Permanent road.
Households : 700 approx
Demography:Society was divided in castes. Major castes were Darbar, Patel etc.Occupations were tailor, shopkeeper, farmers etc

Social Inequality
Corn was one of the monsoon crops of the village. Cotton was the other one.
Shop of rural market usually contained small packages but large variety of products from Balaji chips to Fair and Handsome.
Tractor was used for transporting crops like maize.
