-The two counties need to focus on increasing level of intra-industry trade, which stands at a low level despite geographical contiguity and cultural affinity.

-Most of the tradable goods on sensitive list of items are not included in trade between both countries. Which should be included.

- Trade costs such transportation and freight charges and Tariff barriers should be minimized.

-- Most importantly, issue of trust deficit between both countries needs to be minimized as much as possible for expansion and enhancement of trade.

-- It is suggested that more political weight should be put for trade diplomacy to bring trade liberalization among stakeholders .
