“Avoid project teams and months-long investigations, and don't bother with reports, committees, or levels of approval. Instead, select people from all levels of the company, add some consultants and even customers, put them all together, stir well, and come up with a completely new concept of how to organize and run the business - all in just three intensive days.”

-Fortune Magazine, February 2001

Imagine making business decisions in hours and days rather than months and years.

• Accelerate complex decision making• Approach problems with creativity as opposed to “why it won’t work”• Enable people with diverse perspectives to come together in pursuit of a common goal • Deliver real business solutions months ahead of your competition• Create a team that can successfully implement breakthrough solutions!

Then you would…

• Increase the speed of your time-to-value• Increase certainty of achieving the expected results• Reduce the risk associated with complex problem solving and consequences associated with failure

To accomplish this acceleration, we have reinvented the way people work.

key components

right purpose: A clear, pre-defined, outrageous, but achievable goal, and clear objectives to scope the session.

right inputs: To enable fact-based decision making, a team of analysts assembles the facts and develops hypotheses and straw-models prior to the event.

right people: All the key decision makers, subject matter experts, influencers, and implementers participate fully in the multi-day event.

right environment: Configured to inspire “group genius,” the ASE is a technology-enabled collaborative design space. We have thousands of square feet of white boards for creating and capturing your big, bold ideas!

right facilitation: We assemble a team of knowledge workers to support the event from start to finish. They provide participants with everything they need to succeed, take distraction away and support real-time capture of the work that participants produce.

right process: Using radically different methods, we facilitate participants through our accelerated business decision making and solution design process.

(U.S. Patent # 6,292,830: “System for optimizing interaction among agents acting on multiple levels”)

Rapid Solutions Workshops (RSWs)RSWs are a suite of workshops to accelerate all phases of a systems development or a package implementation project.

RSWs bring Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and other types of user sessions to the next level. The events involve project team members and users from all competency threads to deal with the time-consuming challenges related to obtaining user involvement, soliciting input, issue resolution, building consensus and reaching final decisions.

They target systems development and package implementation deliverables, utilize ASE facilitation techniques, and leverage the environment to accelerate the main phases of a CGEY project.

Workshop represents key project milestones and include:

Strategy and Planning Workshops: project launch, project charter validation, strategy alignment, implementation planning

Rapid Package Evaluation Workshops: outlinebusiness requirements, define selection criteria, evaluate alternative packages, finalize package and vendor selection

Architecture and Infrastructure Workshops: Define technical requirements, validate candidate architecture solutions

Current State Review/Future State Design Workshops: identify business requirements and user expectations, define future state processes, define use cases, evaluate organizational and process impact

Solution Verification and Testing workshops: User Acceptance Testing (UAT): accelerate the testing and acceptance of applications by end users, test and validate the configured version of a package, test use cases, conference room pilot
