Install WordPress

Decide on any special features you may need (are you taking payments? Etc.)

Choose the theme (consider overall design and features desired)

Customize the theme

Create or install any special functions (do you have a shopping cart?, etc.)

Install plugins (Akismet, Contact forms, social sharing, security, SEO, analytics, other functions)

Create widgets for sidebars, footers, headers, etc.

Add all your parent pages

Add all your subpages (more can be added as necessary but I add the ones I know)

Create menu to organize your pages

Add content including words, pictures (don’t forget links!)

SEO

Spelling/Grammar (try Grammarly or other program)

Do all the links work?

Test all forms and widgets.
