Mrs lan had an accident last week she was cooking lunch in the kitchen when the telephone rang she answered the telephone but forgot to turn off the gas when she went back into the kitchen one of the saucepans was on fire she threw some water over it unfortunately that only made the fire bigger and she burnt her hands she creamed loudly and her husband came running in from outside he took a wet cloth and put it over the burning pan the fire went out he then put his wife’s hands in some cold water and telephoned for a doctor the doctor came and put some bandages on Mrs lan’s hands she was very lucky because her hands were not badly burnt a week later she left much better.
