What we did well
• Recruitment of dedicated volunteers (medical doctors and parents)
• Improvement of the volunteers’ capabilities in becoming effective campaigners on AB and ABR themes
• Utilize YOP’s existing network of volunteers, communities, and partners to implement and expand health promotional activities
• Utilize YOP’s existing Internet-based channels to disseminate information on AB and ABR
What we need to improve or address
• Providing of direct supervision and technical assistance to volunteers (parents)
• Preparing good documentation of the activities in various formats to be shared and used as references
• Volunteers’ limited communication skills to provide effective counsel to target communities
• Limited political power of YOP to gain bigger support from the target stakeholders and more volunteers particularly from health professionals
