DEPRESSIONDepression, on the otherhand, is a persistent mentalhealth condition thatinterferes ones overall senseof well-being and day-to-dayfunctioning.

DEPRESSIONLike sadness, a painful lifeexperience can trigger it, butunlike sadness, depression ispersistent, unrelenting, andeffects how you feel, thinkand behave.

DEPRESSIONSymptoms of depression include:- Low energy / fatigue- Difficulty focusing- Decreased libido- Feelings of emptiness, sadness,or guilt- Withdrawal from others- Changes in sleep and appetite- Feelings of hopelessness orhelplessness- Thoughts of suicide
