Addressing The Audience

Addressing/Attracting The Audience

Evaluation Question 2

Direct Mode Of Address.

When conducting my photo shoot, I made perfectly clear to the models in my photo that eye contact with the camera was vital The effect achieved is a somewhat chilling connection with the viewer of the magazine which makes the reader feel visually attracted to the magazine, compelling them to notice that someone is addressing them, and they would respond by buying the magazine Eye Contact with the potential buyer is a very persuasive tool, as the customer can feel an instant bond between him/her self and the magazine.

The use of quotation can provoke a sense of recognition in the customer, as though they themselves are being spoken to, this is more inclusive and compelling upon the potential buyer than you may initially perceive, as much like eye contact, being spoken to is an even more direct demand of response, and those who feel compelled to respond have already been consumed by the effects of the quote and are more likely to purchase the magazine.

Use Of Order

The use of a Noun incorporated in an order can be incredibly influential upon a customer, in this case it has elements of aggressiveness which can be intimidating towards a potential buyer, but in a positive way which might convince them to purchase the magazine and do as thy are told.

Punctuation Techniques

My frequent use of Exclamation Marks attract the customers eye as Exclamation Marks have connotations of importance and are synonymous with excitement. This will create an influence upon the potential buyer to purchase the magazine.

Also the use of Asterisks allows for an aesthetically pleasing separation without jeopardising the Linguistic/Punctual validity of the article.
