Miniumum qualification- MSc. degree: natural science, water management, economics, development studies, environmental science, social sciences or engineering. At least seven years’ relevant experience at a senior management position related to environmental or natural resources management. Knowledge and understanding of the Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) approach will be an advantage. Strategy Development and Implementation: Coordinate, administer and monitor the implementation of strategic and annual work plans. Management: Manage and administer the GWP-C Secretariat. Relationships: Coordinate, liaise and participate in the activities of relevant regional and international partners. Special Responsibilities The GWP-C Regional Coordinator manages the daily operations and staff of GWP-C and the implementation of decisions of the General Assembly as adopted by the GWP-C Steering Committee. The Regional Coordinator’s actions are also subject to directives and control of the GWP-C Steering Committee. The Regional Coordinator is also in regular liaison with the Global Water Partnership Organisation (GWPO ) Network Officer based in Stockholm, Sweden.
