In-story flyers serve to:

Give the reader and extra reason to share

Break up text, making story more…Visually appealingReader Friendly

Provide an informational focus for hurried readers

Best practices for in-story photos: Do not use a flyer AND photos if they don’t fit within the story. A link can be provided to a site w/more photos such as Facebook, Flickr, etc.

If possible, upload a downloadable .pdf version or provide link to .pdf

Choose flyer location

Best practices for location:

Don’t begin story with a left-aligned flyer

Do not insert at bottom of story because it will crowd default text such as Tags

Depending on location, work with a max 250 pix wide or height (more info on custom size to follow)

Best practices for format:

Click on Alignment to choose Left, Right or None (None will align the photo on the left of screen with text below it)

Click on size and choose Custom keeping in mind that image should fit within text

Adjust sizing w/max 250 px width or height ALWAYS check box “Click image to show full

size” Click Update Image/Insert Image button &

Save

Good flyer placement results in:

Visually inviting,, no text crowding

Audience able to see Full, pop-up version of flyer
