Let your child spend this Summer with Shakespeare and how? The renowned classical repertory theater company, A Noise Within (ANW), is all set to host a three- week Pasadena Summer camp titled “Summer with Shakespeare” this solstice, reports CampNavigator.com's team. To be held from June 23rd to July 12th, 2014, (Monday-Friday 10am-4pm) for kids aged between10- 18, this conservatory-style camp of acting, improvisation, stage diction, text analysis, kinetic exercises, and stage combat will be headed by trained, professionals, actors, choreographers, and designers. What more, ANW will also organize a week-long day camp called All the World's A Stage, for younger kids aged between 6-9, July 21-25. Besides introducing the little ones to the works of Shakespeare and teaching them to act, stage combat, costume, crafts and make scenes, the camp will also impart important social skills, all in a fun way. During the three-week fun-filled weeks of acting, improvising and learning, campers won't be just exposed to a gamut of Shakespearean verses as well as comedies, tragedies, and history plays, but a lso get to take part in intensive camp challenges, enhancing their acting and public speaking skills, building their self-confidence on the stage, and gaining experience in theater craft.

In the camp, kids can:

- Learn all about Shakespeare with classes led by professional acting coaches. - Meet fellow young artists through ensemble scene work.

- Master the language of the Bard through monologues. - Get crafty with the art of mask making and more. - Take charge of the stage in stage-combat workshops.

- Perform on ANW's main stage, just like the professionals.

Campers enrolling will be placed in appropriate age groups and get a chance to perform for an audience on the main stage during a culminating presentation of scenes and monologues from Shakespeare's plays on Saturday, July 12th at noon.

Summer with Shakespeare will be held from Monday, June 23rd – Saturday - July 12th 2014, Monday -

Friday from 10am to 4pm (no camp on Friday, July 4th, Independence Day). All the World's A Stage takes place Monday July 21-Friday July 25.

The camp will be hosted in the premises of the theater company, located in the corner of Foothill

Boulevard and Sierra Madre Villa Avenue at 3352 East Foothill Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91107. The three-week camp would cost you $850 (barring Summer with Shakespeare t-shirt or tickets to the

Final Performance.) Weeklong youth camp has been priced at $360 inclusive of snacks and supplies.
