What is bonfires of St john?

• The bonfires of st john (hogueras de san Juan) is a festival in which people make bonfires on the beaches and they make large paper Mache models and light them on fire. Also they jump over there bonfires. This festival is a smaller version of the las fallas in Valencia.

What is there to do?

• The festival has loads of odd things to do like jumping over fire and setting paper Mache models on fire. But there is also a big fire display that they do at the end of the last day of the festival. The festival and the activities that you can do in the are all tradition based.
