Jeff Dowd is a Los Angeles-based writer and producer.
During the Vietnam War, he was involved in violent anti war
protests as a member of the Seattle Liberation Front, a
radical anti-Vietnam War movement, based in Seattle,
Washington. He was also a part of the Seattle Seven, a group
of 7 members of SLF prosecuted on charges of inciting a
riot and conspiracy to damage the Seattle Federal Building
on February 17, 1970. Even though the prosecution was not
successful, he was found guilty of contempt of court and
sentenced to six months of which he served three.
