showing of my film.

Male

Female

Unfortunately my test audience was not completely balanced in gender, although I didn’t see this as a problem because I wouldn’t say that my film is aimed at a particular gender

I was glad to see that people thought it was successful as a silent film, especially when there was a lot of doubt from people when I carried out my primary research.

Q: “Do you think it was different to most short films?”

Yes

No

I was quite glad that my film got this response because I think that it emphasises the fact that I have both used and challenged forms and conventions of typical short films.

Q: “Do you think it was accurately portrayed by the radio trailer?”

Yes

No

I wasn’t disappointed by this because I can understand why people would think this, but I was glad that so many people thought it was relatable and therefore successful.

Q: “What did you like most about the film?”

I really liked the shot where the t-shirt the

boy was wearing matched up with the writing on the wall

Just the music in general

I liked the feeling of symmetry. The fact

that the victim becomes the killer.

Even though there wasn’t

any dialogue I still understood

the story

I liked the way that

emotion was built up

through the music

It was really different

I liked the use of different shots

I would have made the

change of days more obvious

Maybe the music at the beginning

From asking my test audience to fill out the questionnaire I have found what they

themselves would change, I have decided that I wont be changing my film because I

am happy with it but also because the positive feedback outweighs the negative

by a lot.
