Digital

• Digital is technology that runs on electricity and runs on its own once it’s working for example: an electronic clock.

• To use them all you do is put a battery in the back of the product to turn it on and then once its on you look at the instruction manual to change the time. This is the same for all other types of digital products such as TV, Radio etc.

• To catching the audiences eye the producers need to make their product eye catching, so it looks different an unique compared to anything else that is currently being sold on the digital market.

Pay Per View

• Pay Per View is a television service that allows the viewer to choose what he wants to watch. For example: An event in the Olympics somebody may want to watch their country playa specific sport but its not being shown on general TV so they pay a certain amount to watch the sport that they would like to watch.

• To be able to get the channel you would like to watch it would be advertised on your TV screen showing a phone number to call or to press the red button on your remote. This would then able you to choose what you would like to watch if it’s not being shown on general TV.

• The producers that work for TV channels would reach out their target audience by continuously posting signs on TV channels saying press the red button to watch a certain channel and if the viewer wants to watch that channel then he can press the red button and then choose that channel that the viewer wants to watch.

• You will mostly find HD in all new gadgets, which are now more high-tech such as Mobile phones and newer and better quality TV’s.

• If you can’t get a TV with already built in HD you can buy a HDMI cable which you can connect to your TV to a rooter that will give you HD.

• To attract audiences with HD the producers have to make the new TV’s seem and look better than anything else, so then the audience is then convinced that HD is the way forward to enjoy a much better picture to watch their TV.

Smart TV’s

• A Smart TV has all the new feature for a TV. As you can now use the internet on it for usage of apps such as Netflix, BBC Iplayer.

• You can either use a smart TV with a remote control or you can use hand movements which a small camera follows your hand movements from top of the TV.

• A producer wouldn't reach out to his target audience by persuading them with the new level of technology that has recently come around. All the older versions of TV can only use a remote or hands if the remote is broken. Unlike now technology is making you as the remote control by putting a small camera on top of the TV so you can change the channel with your on hand movements.
