scheduled for Shenzhen on June 24, to be followed by eight more performances to be staged in

Shanghai, as from July 2 to July 9, 2016.

accidental. It is intended to augment the show making it one of its kind.

Set in a solid jungle, Cirkopolis will be staged by one of the directors of the show, going by

the name Jeannot Painchaud. After 12 performers erect the stage, glad in armor-like

trench hats and coats, the show will unfold effectively charming all irrespective of age,

race or social class. All lovers of the circus will enjoy a treat of a lifetime.

Jugglers, aerial and multidisciplinary artists, as well as cartoonists, perform stunts

other artistic visions. So, in 1993, he started Cirque Éloize with an intention of inviting artists from a

wide variety of fields to take part and perform in a modern-day circus. Cirque Éloize has been playing

in one city after another. It has, therefore, managed to present more than four thousand

performances, 500 plus cities all over the world.

Cirque Éloize Cirkopolis will offer a total of 38 shows in 19 different cities, in China. All the

shows have been confirmed already. The cities include Shenzhen, Guangdong

province; Changzhou and Nanjing, Jiangsu Province; Dalian City, Liaoning Province;

Hohhot situated in Mongolia Autonomous area; and Beijing.

The tour is scheduled to start on June 24 and come to and end September 4, 2016.

The long duration of the show in China was made possible thanks to the new cordial business relationship between

Chinese promoter referred to as Shanghai Fresh Vigo and Cirque Éloize.

Zhou Bin, the president of Shanghai Fresh Vogue, welcomed the pact between his promoting company and Cirque ÉloizeCirkopolis adding that he was glad to

introduce the artistic, elegant masterpiece, from one of the top

contemporary circus arts, to China for the first time.

He also reminded everyone that his promoting company brings in high-quality

foreign performances to China. Cirque Éloize Cirkopolis provides a perfect

avenue for introducing contemporary circus art to the Chinese public and is

widely seen as an opportunity to enhance cultural relationships between Canada

and China.

The show uses acrobats, paying attention to the chorography as

well as the storyline. According to the director of the show, while

Cirkopolis is about acting, it also emphasizes on finding pleasure

while on the stage.

He also added that he does circuses both to impress people and touch them too. He

admitted seeing people cry and liking it even more. People come to the circus only to find themselves crying after being touched. The show was formed as crossroads, between

fantasy and reality, between community and individuality and between possibilities and

limits.

Cirque Éloize Cirkopolis by the poetic urge of life. The physical

dexterity of Cirkopolis as well as the humor renders the show both severe and light-hearted at the

same time.

It unfolds scene after scene much like a rudimentary universe, with jugglers braving the space, aerial daring the

height of skyscrapers.

Experiencing Cirkopolis is akin to treading the dance of Cyr wheel, or

walking on the bravery of the German wheel and realizing the candor of

someone who only dreams of dancing.
