Performed scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to include phase inspections on assigned aircraft, replacemajor dynamic components i.e.: transmissions, engines and main and tail rotor systems. Disassembled and rebuilt mainrotor heads, engines and drive-train components. Completed flight control rigging and trouble shooting of aircraftcomponents. Supported the launch and ensured that the aircraft were in safe flyable condition. Provided support for theU.S. Army Maintenance Test Pilot Course and graduate level flight training on the CH-47, AH-64, AH-1 and UH-1 aircraft.

Assigning and directing the work of assigned maintenance personnel to ensure that the established standardsof safety and production are met in a timely manner. I work directly with management to ensure that all thespecial inspections, maintenance requirements and logbook entries are completed and that the aircraft meetrequirements of the mission they are to perform. Other duties include supporting the launch and assisting theinstructor pilots with any problem that may arise prior to departing the airfield. In this capacity, I have beenassigned to the UH-1, UH-60, OH-58A/C/D, CH-47D and AH-64 projects.

Removed and installed MIR Blades and MIR heads. Removed and installed T700, T701, T701C and T701Dturbine engines. Replaced 701 series engines and internal parts i.e.: igniters, IPS blower assemblies, enginerigging, IPAS components, starters, cold sections, power turbine modules, accessory gear box, fuel controls, GGrotors, combustion liners and 1st stage nozzles.

Repaired and replaced MIR head components i.e.: lead lag links, pitch housing, feather bearings, strap packs,seals and retention nuts.

Repaired and replaced hydraulic components i.e.: reservoirs, manifolds, hydraulic lines, pre-charge tanks,accumulators, pumps, filters and seals. Serviced and flushed the hydraulic systems.

Repaired and replaced engine driven gear boxes, to include tail rotor gear box and intermediate gear box.

Inspected and replaced all drive shafts and components i.e.: hanger bearings, flex couplings, dampeners andanti-flail.

Repaired and replaced main transmission and components i.e.: clutches, seals and filers. Serviced and flushedtransmission.

Repaired and replaced all main motor and tail rotor flight controls i.e.: bell cranks, push-pull tubes and allassociated rigging.

Replaced generators.

Repaired and replaced aircraft refrigeration components i.e.: compressors, lines, filter dryer, expansion valvesand service Freon with tronair serving system.

Replaced cads/pads i.e.: fire bottle squibs, det cords, initiator handles and halon bottles.

Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, pneudraulic, engines,auxiliary power unit and ventilation and heating systems.

Repaired, replaced and rebuilt aircraft structures and functional components including rigging, surface controlsand plumbing and hydraulic units.

Performed 100 hour progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic and other hourly or calendar inspections. Inspectsengines and components for cracks, corrosion, foreign object damage, burned areas, distortions, security,warping, wear and missing segments.
