Turbinol X Premium Turbine Oil Description The Turbinol X range is based on hydro treated base oils and specially selected additives to provide a very high degree of oxidation stability . They also protect metal surfaces against corrosion and suppress foaming, whilst retaining good air release and demulsibility. The formulation is zinc-free and ashless. The oils are compatible with the components used in turbines and associated equipment. Turbinol X-EP is formulated to provide extra load carrying performance for geared turbine applications. Main Benefits very long useful oil life because of strong resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation wide operating temperature range. excellent air release properties. excellent protection against corrosion, even in the presence of condensed water excellent water separation. compatibility with standard seal materials and non -ferrous metals. superior load carrying for X-EP if required for geared turbine applications Applications Turbinol X and X-EP oils can be used for the lubrication and cooling of bearings and gear boxes of steam, gas and water turbines and associated equipment (e.g. some turbine governor systems, sealing oil systems, turbo-couplings and the lubrication of turbo compressors). Turbinol X-EP contains a load carrying additive and can be used in geared turbines with a common oil reservoir. The grades in this range are formulated to meet the demanding requirements of the following major turbine manufacturers: Siemens - KWU TLV 9013 04 (gas & steam turbines) Asea Brown-Boveri (ABB) HTGD 90 117 D MAN Energie QM 44 101A General Electric GEK 32568E General Electric GEK 101941 (Turbinol X-EP only) and meet the requirements of the following specifications: DIN 51515 part 1 ISO 8068 BS 489 ..2/-

Turbinol X Premium Turbine Oil Description

The Turbinol X range is based on hydro treated base oils and specially selected additives to provide a very high degree of oxidation stability .

Main Benefits • very long useful oil life because of strong resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation • wide operating temperature range. • excellent air release properties. • excellent protection against corrosion, even in the presence of condensed water • excellent water separation. • compatibility with standard seal materials and non -ferrous metals. • superior load carrying for X-EP if required for geared turbine applications

Applications Turbinol X and X-EP oils can be used for the lubrication and cooling of bearings and gear boxes of steam, gas and water turbines and associated equipment (e.g. some turbine governor systems, sealing oil systems, turbo-couplings and the lubrication of turbo compressors). Turbinol X-EP contains a load carrying additive and can be used in geared turbines with a common oil reservoir.
