Properties of Ti Grade 2

Ti 2 has been dubbed the “workhorse” or “garden variety” grade.

Widely used in industrial work because of it’s excellent resistance to corrosion and weldability ratings.

High marks for ductility and cold formability with a moderate strength rating compared to other grades.

Often used in architecture and power generation for turbine blades and heat exchangers.

Property Ratings and ComparisonsTi Grade 2 has some of the highest marks in ductility and formability. The ability to be deformed under pressure makes it one of the most applicable metals for applications where safety is required. The excellent corrosion resistance rating also makes it the perfect candidate for other applications where speed and force are factors and are in constant battle with moisture.
