2 Teamnet Engineering

Teamnet Engineering (TNE) is the Teamnet Group Company specialized in end-to-end management of engineering projects, from the design phase, to the execution, implementation and commissioning phases. It develops water and sewerage systems, waste management systems for clients in the private and public field, SCADA systems (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and industrial automations.

The experience in engineering projects of the Teamnet Group started in 2003, with SCADA projects and continuing with the implementation of 10 important engineering projects and environment projects. The expertise acquired in these projects, as well as the existing opportunities on this market have led to the decision of creating a specialised company for the complete management of engineering projects.

Thus, as of March 2013, Teamnet Engineering became part of the Group. Having a team of specialists in water treatment, waste management, industrial automation and applied research, the aim of the company was to develop a network of partners and to participate with them in complex projects in the field.

Our team is composed of specialists who distinguish themselves by a vast experience and remarkable achievements, as well as through the quality of the implemented projects. Thus, we have implemented a wide range of projects, from smaller to more complex projects, or to high magnitude projects, in which we integrated technological elements, electrical and automation equipment, real time monitoring and control systems, to create complex computer science and electrical engineering solutions , customized to our clients needs .

In the field of energy and utilities, we are involved in important projects for the rehabilitation and modernization of wastewater treatment stations, but also in essential integrated waste management system projects. We are contributing, through an integrated approach of the projects, to the efficiency of the processes and to the operation of the designed equipment, in relation to the specific characteristics of each industry.

We have an extensive experience in developing industrial automation projects and SCADA typologies in fields of industrial application such as: water supply, wastewater treatment and sewerage stations, transportation and water distribution, industrial installations in the fields of metallurgy, petrochemistry, paint industry, tyre manufacturing industry etc.

Depending on the needs and the characteristics of the technological installations existent at the beneficiaries, we perform the design and implement the appropriate hardware and software configurations.

ENGINEERING SERVICESWe approach a wide range of works in the field of civil and industrial constructions, regardless of their size and complexity. Our involvement may be engaged for design, supply and assembly of equipment, execution, commissioning, technical assistance and consultancy in:

• Design, execution and assembly for urban infrastructure works: urban constructions (water supply networks and plants, sewerage networks, central heating networks, roads), hydrotechnical constructions (drinking and industrial water treatment stations, household wastewater treatment stations, bank revetments and water-course regularizations) and special constructions (bridges, passages, undercrossings, fixed consolidations, bores for water supply);

3 Projects with impact on society

The upgrading works were carried out within the MUDP2 program - Municipal Utilities Development Program and aimed the enhancement of wastewater treatment stations in several areas in the Bistrița - Năsăud County. The development of these installations was needed to bring economic and social benefits and to increasing the standards practiced in these areas in the field of environment protection.

Improving indoor-outdoor Welding EquipmentArcelor Mittal Tubular Products Galati

The upgraded equipments (fully automated) at ArcelorMittal Tubular Products belongs to Submerged Arc Welding Sector. The upgrade will be done at ESI-3, ESI-4 (internal welding), ESE-3 and ESE-4 (external welding), all these equipments beeing equipped with two wires, used for tandem welding process.The pipe welding sector consists of two spot welding equipments (ESP1 and ESP2), one for diameters of 508-864 mm and the second for diameters of 914-1422 mm.

Research, Development and Innovation Projects

At Group level, we are constantly involved in national or international research and development projects. Our attention is focused to where the interest of today’s society is as well. The areas of Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, Cloud, Smart Cities, Factories of the future, E-Health, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Ambient Assisted Living, Factories of the future, Big Data, Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing are the research directions that our organization is focusing on.

Through Teamnet Engineering, we are particularly concerned with the development of Factories of the future, a subject also included in the Horizon 2020 plan of the European Commission. This implies the development of new operation methods and mechanisms which ensure the running of the activities of the production units with a low impact on the environment, while the level of performance is increasing, and the production costs are decreasing. Furthermore, Factories of the future shall supply alternative fuels, obtained from the transformation of industrial wastes.

VIBROCHANGE - Experimental model for the detection and diagnosis of changes in the vibrating processes using advanced measurement and analysis techniques based on the model

Within the project, we offer an innovative solution for automatic monitoring and condition-based maintenance systems, which can improve cost optimization through early detection of system malfunctions.

Project objectivesThe researches within the project are in line with the trend and the increased demands from the users, regarding the replacement of the systematic maintenance procedures for industrial machines and equipment by conditioned maintenance strategies, based on continuous monitoring or behaviour survey, with the purpose of preventing their malfunction and avoiding the occurrence of economic or ecologic catastrophes.

BIOCON - Advanced control system of a bio refinery-type plant

In this project we explore the possibility of using bio-technologies to obtain bio fuel from the wastewater coming from the specific activities of bio refineries.

Project objectives• Modelling the anaerobic digestion and microalgae photosynthetic growth processes and identifying the second process, based on the experiments carried out on the pilot plant • Study of the process for obtaining methane gas by anaerobic treatment of wastewater based on the mathematic model, by numerical simulation• Obtaining biomass from microalgae in order to produce compounds with added value;• CO2 bio-mitigation resulted from burning methane and using it as a substrate for the process of photosynthetic growth of microalgae• Study of using biomass waste left following the extraction of biodiesel as a substrate to produce biogas in anaerobic step;• Synthesis of control algorithms for both processes (complex and strongly non-linear processes) treated individually and coupled on the HILS structure adopted within the project
