GEOTHERMAL
Geo means earth, thermal means heat.The energy present under our feet is known
as geothermal energy.Near about 40-50% of total energy is stored
inside earth surface.The temperature in the ground is remain
constant in all over the year.This is the main source that utilized in
geothermal heat pump.
HEAT PUMP
The device which transfer heat to the system from the surrounding with the application of energy and vice versa.
The refrigerant may be R 22(Monochromo dychloro methane)

The heat pump which use the geothermal heat as main source is known as Geothermal heat pump.
Water is taken as refrigerant to carried out the process.

It is the instrument which acts as water heater.
It takes heat from the compression pipe.Due to desuperheater the is more as it
reduces the electric bill.It gives free hot water for domestic use.

IN WINTER
Room temperature is 10 degree and ground temperature is 15 degree.
Extract heat from the earth and moves into the room.
The process is carried out in four processes Evaporation-It evaporate water to vapor Compression-It compress the vapor at high temp. &
pressure Condensation-It condense the vapor and make room temp. Expansion-It makes the vapor to form water.
First process makes water to refrigerant and last process makes refrigerant to water.

Heat is extracted from the room and moves into the earth.
