CSO Terminology

CSO = Combined Sewer Overflow

CB = Catch Basin

CD = Consent Decree

Combined Sewer = pipe w/ storm and sanitary flow

Purpose of sewer separation project is to provide separate sanitary pipe and separate storm drain pipe.

General Project Overview

• New sanitary, storm, and water pipes• Maintain esplanade configuration• Maintain sidewalk configuration• Retaining walls may be needed• Add curbing and catch basins
