Green House - Clina Shaft Unit Study
Abstract
Purpose:
This study has made to measure the effectiveness of Clina Shaft-unit in Green
houses and measuring the power consumption and the generated water by the
System in UAE.
Method:
Install Clina system in a Green House considering the following elements:
- 4 shaft-units.
- 4 Ton Chiller with 1 HP circulation pump.
- Control System.
- Green house ( 20 m ²) made of 4 mm poly carbonate walls and ceiling.
- Exhaust fan
- Location : Dubai
- Date : 15/Jul/2016

Conclusion:
- According to our result we can plant any type of
vegetables, flowers any time in the year we need
only to adjust the required temperature.
- Using hydroponic system, we do not need additional
water source the generated water is more than
enough for our garden.
- The system can be extended for the use in the
standard greenhouses
Consumption :
- Clina AVG Power Consumption/H = 2.97 KW
- Generated water /Shaft/24h=39.6 Liter , (4 shaft Generate158.4
Liter /24h )
Saving Energy Recommendations:
- )high efficiency polycarbonate or double glass with thermal reflectivity +
Chiller efficiency( The more saving energy .
