Occupational Therapist vs. Occupational Therapy Assistant
● Responsible for all aspects of service delivery
● Conducts screenings and evaluations● Responsible for concise documentation of
services ● Provides resources (i.e. consultations)● Develops and implements goals and
interventions● Re-evaluates and makes changes to the
intervention plan● Prepares discharge plan (i.e. safety in
home)
● May complete service competency under an occupational therapist to ensure standardized/quality care
