What will this manual do for me?

Reference Guide: Experienced/InexperiencedTwo-fold purpose

Purpose #1:Provide help during city-wide outages when many

crews are split and some may have limited experience in a certain group.

It has been my experience that the longer hours awake will result in an increase of Problem Solving Time.*Displayed in the following chart*

Purpose #2:Test your knowledge of overhead distribution

systems.- Use of questions- “Time is Money”

Becoming familiar = increase of electrical problem solving skills

What kind of problems does this manual answer?

Primary and Secondary distribution problemsCommon customer complaintsTroubleshooting Guide

How do I use this manual?

Several SectionsPrimary CircuitsFactors surrounding secondary distributionCommon customer complaints

Reminder: Thought-Processing Questions

For Example – “Are There any other regulators in this

circuit other than the substation regulator?”

*These can decrease the time and safety factors of fixing this circuit*

This section includes some thought-processing questions and answers as does the first but dealing with secondary distribution and the factors that surround it.

This sections lists some of the common complaints from customers and provides solutions for the complaint.

However, the manual will not be able to answer EVERY complaint that you will likely encounter.

This manual will be of great help to you…

If you have other common complaints to be added please forward them to Mr. Moore.

I will assure that we can them added before we go to the press.

A Special “Thanks” to Mr. Moore for allowing me the opportunity to create this manual for you.
