I was running as fast as I could but she was still breathing down my neck. The roots of these trees were slowing me down. Even though I could not see her, I could smell her S T __ N __ __ . It was so V __ __ E and P __ T __ __ D that I almost threw up. What luck! I saw a cave small enough for me to squeeze in. I quickly jumped inside knowing that the vampire, being much bigger than I am, would not be able to fit in such a cave. I crawled on all fours and crept through the S __ __ __ Y moss that carpeted the floor. Rats crept all over me. The cave was absolutely F I __ __ __ Y with dry bones and dead animal carcasses everywhere, but I wanted to be safe. The vampire kept on scratching her hands into the cave but I hid behind G R __ __ Y boulders of rock. Her hands slid repetitively on the slippery surface of the rock, providing me enough protection. I became so exhausted that I slept throughout the ordeal. I woke up to find out that it was morning. Slowly, I crept out of the cave, looked around, and looked at myself. My dress was T __ T T __ R __ D and torn. My blood covered its every inch, dried from the night’s sleep. It had a N A __ __ __ A T __ __ G smell that almost made me faint. Recounting the night, I threw up. As my sight climbed slowly down towards the floor, I soon saw a S __ C K __ N __ N G sight. I had lost all my toes! Although I was able to escape the vampire, the rats in the cave chewed off every one of my toes overnight! With blood and bones everywhere, they looked R O __ __ __ N. I cried and wailed my lungs out. “Weeheehee!” replied the vampire behind me.
