Using the Library Online Catalogue

A beginners’ guide on how to use the library online catalogue.

STEP 1: At the SQU homepage, go to Libraries and click Main Library.

STEP 2: Go to Search and click Catalogue on the library homepage page.

STEP 3: Type in your search word or phrase and

choose Title, Subject, etc. as appropriate.

STEP 4: Click Search.

STEP 5: Select your source from the Results page and click Details.

STEP 6: Copy the Title, the Call Number and the Location. Check if the source is available.

STEP 7: Click New Search to begin a new search.

STEP 8: The library search page will open. Library computers usually start on this page.
