Library Catalogue:accessing
your Library Account

Your Library Account…..
• Can be viewed by you online
• See a list of the items (books etc) that you have borrowed
• Find out when the items are due for return to the Library
• Renew items if you need them for longer
• See a list of the books you have requested and if they are ready for collection
• See what library charges (if any) you owe
• Let the Library know if your address has changed
To access your Library Account go to the Library CataloguemyUniHub > My Study > My Library > Library Catalogue
Select ‘Library Catalogue’ from the list of resources
Select ‘Library Account/Renewals’
Enter your student number (Borrower ID) eg. M00001234, followed by your date of birth (PIN) like this dd/mm/yy eg. 121087

You are now in your Library Account
This is the ‘home’ page which provides a summary of your library account.
See a list of the items you have borrowed
Click on the heading ‘Currently Borrowed’ to see a list of the items you have on loan.

Each item is listed, along with details of when it was issued (Out) and when it is issued until (Due Date)
You can renew items if you require them for longer
Renewing items
If you want to renew all items on loan check this box and click on ‘renew’

Or you can renew individual items by checking the box nearest the item and then clicking on ‘Renew’
Once you have successfully renewed your item(s) the ‘Due date’ will change to a later date
Items can usually be renewed up to 20 times, however you will not be able to renew an item if it has been requested by another user
See what items you have requested…To see what items you have on request, click on ‘Requests’
This section tells you which items you have requested. These items are not yet ready to be collected.

Charges and Messages‘Charges/Messages’ enables you to see if you have accrued any library charges eg. for returning a book late. You can also read messages which have been sent to you from the library eg. if you have a requested book ready for collection (see below)

If you have library charges, they will be noted here
Your details‘My Details’ contains information about your home address and when your Library card expires ie. when you course finishes

If your address has changed, then click on ‘Request change’ to alert Library staff to ask for details next time you come into the Library
