Physical Activity - Moderate

Students were asked how much time they spend during a typical weekday doing moderate physical activities, such as walking or leisure biking.

The results are reported as the "number of hours per day spent doing moderate physical activity".

Physical Activity - Intense

Students are asked how much time they spend during a typical weekday doing intense physical activity that increased their heart rate, caused them to sweat, or made them out of breath.

The results are reported as the "number of hours per day spent doing intense physical activity".

Participate in Sports

The TTFM measure of Participation in Sports is based on a single question that asks students:

•In the past month, how often have you played sports WITH a coach or instructor AT SCHOOL, other than in a gym class (e.g., school teams, swimming lessons)?

*The on-line report simply indicates the percentage of students that participated at least once a week.

Canada Food Guidelines

AnxietyThe TTFM measure is comprised of the following set of statements that ask students: We would like to know how you think and feel about certain things. For each statement below, please tell us how often you feel this way:• “I am concerned about what other students think about me.”

• I worry about a teacher asking me a question.

• I worry more than most kids.

• I am afraid that other students will think I am stupid.

“I really like that most of the time I`m exepted for who I am but one thing that could make it better would be for this one girl to not make fun of what I do or what i look like. I`m afraid since shes so popular she will Just make fun of me for standing up to her. In fact she is sitting by me right now. Other than that my school is great.”
