What is wanted from the government?

Pros vs ConsPros:• Schools have autonomy.• Public is open to free

education.• Control over own school.

(Private)• Incentives (Scholarships)

Cons:

• Reproducing social class• Higher decile schools can

afford better advertising and resources.

• Decile is perceived as how well a school’s achievement is.

• Isn’t equal opportunities.
