Place the box net face down

Fix the sides in place using the yellow fasteners

Get the net for the bracket

Bend the bracket into shape

Fix the back of the bracket with a yellow fastener

Place the bracket on the top of the main box

Fix the bracket in place with 2 yellow fasteners

Thread the axle through one side of the box and an egg cam

Thread the axle through the other side of the box

Hold the axle in place with sponge washers

Add the second axle and the crank. Try you mechanism and draw an annotated diagram

Finished! You have completed the egg cam mechanism

Take apart the egg cam mechanism until left with box

Attach the side of the box with the bracket

Add the axle and snail cam

Hold axle in place with sponge washers

Add the second axle and crank

Now test and draw an annotated diagram of your snail cam mechanism

Take apart the snail cam mechanism and add an eff cam through the centre

Hold the axle in place with sponge washers

Add the crank

Draw a line along the top 3 dots of the beam net

Cut through the sides of the beam net where the line is drawn - DON’T cut through the middle!

Score the middle along the drawn line

Bend up the sides of the beam
