Early in the semester, you can begin revising by making
revision materials: create lists of questions, gapfills,
summaries, diagrams and memory devices that you can
use later in semester.cc: p_a_h - https://www.flickr.com/photos/64654599@N00
By making revision materials, you will familiarise yourself with the content and have a better understanding of the
big picture. Then you can devote your swot vac to
brushing up on the details.cc: jeffbr13 - https://www.flickr.com/photos/37093249@N08
Don't write out your lecture notes to make them neater. Rewrite them as a series of
questions.

Open source computer apps can be used to create tests and quizzes from your own
notes.
Then as the semester progresses you can recycle
and revisit your revision materials to assess your
progress and identify where more work is needed.
