Menu of Training Options

MOUSE MISCHIEF Try a little Mischief! Learn to use Microsoft Mouse

Mischief to insert questions, polls, and drawing activities slides into your

lessons using Power Point slides. Participants completing the training will

have a 2 week access to a classroom set of wireless mice and hubs for use

during the student teaching semester. Web links for Microsoft Mouse

Mischief activities will be provided. (FOR EC-6 ONLY) YOU MUST

PROVIDE YOUR OWN COMPUTER.

POWER POINT Punch up your Power Point slide design! Learn to use

drawing tools, font tools & inserts. Additional slide design templates and

useful web links will be provided.

YOU TUBE Create your own You Tube channel! Identify You Tube

channel subscriptions suitable for classroom use. Web links for You Tube

channel links will be provided.

PREZI Happy zooming! Popular Prezi the moving, zooming alternative to

Power Point. Create visually engaging presentation using an

on-line canvas. Web links for Prezi tool tips and hints will be provided .

QR CODES IN THE CLASSROOM Quick Response (QR) codes are

designed to be read by Smartphones, webcams and Mac Facetime cameras.

Great for classroom treasure hunts, bookmarking websites for individualized

instruction! Learn how to create QR Codes with ease! Web links for QR

Code activities will be provided.

SMARTBOARD During this session, participants will have the opportunity to

learn about the tools available with the SMARTBoard. Web links for

SMARTboard activities will be provided.

iClickers Keep the focus on teaching! Create reliable, intuitive response

solutions that focus on formative assessment and pedagogy. Participants

completing the training will have a 2 week access to a classroom set of iClickers

and a base receiver for use during the student teaching semester. (FOR Middle

& High School ONLY) YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN COMPUTER.
