There is a period of seven years in the life of Shakespeare, "dark period", there isn`t documented evidence of what Shakespeare did from the time he lived in Stratford with his wife and children. When it became part of the London theatre world.

William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon in April 1564 and he was baptized in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, on 26 April

The first theatre constructed in 1576 by James Burbage, where they represent Shakespeare's “Enrique V"

The first person who wrote about Shakespeare was Robert Greene in 1592 in London and said that he had not talent.

On November 28, 1582, when he was 18 years old, Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway, 26, a native of Temple Grafton, near Stratford town.

In 1596, only eleven years old, died Hamnet, only son of the writer.

Between 1590 and 1620 several plays and poems attributed to William Shakespeare were published.

Shakespeare died on 23 April 1616

Shakespeare retired to his hometown in 1611 where he was put in various lawsuits, including litigation regarding the fencing of communal land.

In 1604, Shakespeare became matchmaker for his landlord's daughter and lessee of Christopher Mountjoy, a Huguenot craftsman Northwest London.

The comedy “Cardenno or Cardenna” was twice represented before the Court by Shakespeare's company, on the occasion of the celebrations for the marriage of Princess Elizabeth and the ambassador to the Duke of Savoy.

"Chandos portrait", dating from between 1600 and 1610, in the National Portrait Gallery (London), is considered the greatest resemblance to the author, with forty years or so, with a beard and a gold hoop in his left ear.

The death of her son has inspired Shakespeare composed Hamlet (around 1601)

By 1598 he moved his residence to the parish of St. Helen, Bishopsgate. His name tops the list of actors in the play (Every Man in His Humour), Ben Jonson.

Miguel de Cervantes was born on September 29, 1547 (day of the feast of the Archangel Michael).

Cervantes moved from Spain to Italy during 1560 when he was about 22 years old and finally joined the Spanish army there.

By 1551, he moved with his family to Valladolid.

An order of Felipe II, dated 1569, which sends apprehend Miguel de Cervantes, accused of wounding in a duel to Antonio Sigura

Juan López de Hoyos, in 1569, published a book about the illness and death of Queen Isabella of Valois, wife of Felipe II in which he includes two poems of Cervantes, “Nuestro caro” and “Amado discípulo”.

On October 7, 1571 participated in the Battle of Lepanto, where he was wounded on his left hand for what he nicknamed “El manco de Lepanto”

Cervantes resumed his military career in 1572. He took part in the naval expeditions of Navarino (1572)

A Turkish flotilla commanded by Mami Arnaúte made prisoners Miguel and his brother Rodrigo, on September 26, 1575.

In 1577 the dealings were arranged, but the amount was not sufficient to rescue the two and it was preferred Miguel released his brother Rodrigo, who returned to Spain.

Cervantes is freed on September 19, 1580 by Fray Juan Gil that got 500 shields to pay his ransom and returns to Spain

In May 1581, Cervantes moved to Portugal to find something with which to rebuild their lives and pay debts that had to rescue his family from Argel.

In February 1582, he applied for a job vacancy in India, but failed and had an affair with Ana Villafranca de Rojas, the wife of Alonso Rodriguez, an innkeeper.

On December 12, 1584, he married Catalina de Salazar y Palacios in Toledo village Esquivias.

Between 1581 and 1583, Cervantes wrote “La Galatea” his first literary work in volume and importance. It was published in Alcalá de Henares in 1585.

In 1587, he travelled to Andalusia as commissioner of provisions of the Invincible Armada.

He is jailed in 1597 in the Royal Prison of Seville, accused of having appropriated public money after being found several irregularities in the accounts he wore.

The last 22 years of his life, Cervantes had to take jobs to earn money."It was very frustrating because they were jobs that I don't like"

In 1605 it was published the first part of what will be his major work: El ingenioso hidalgo don Quijote de la Mancha.

The second part does not appear until 1615: El ingenioso hidalgo don Quijote de la Mancha.

Between the two parts of Don Quixote, “Las Novelas ejemplares”are published in 1613.

April 22, 1616 Cervantes died in Madrid at the age of 69 years of diabetes, in the famous Casa de Cervantes.
