For decades, researchers have assumed that A flows like B. After all, plasma, the liquid in which the A cells are suspended, consists to 92 percent of B. However, researchers from the UPennand Saarland University in Germany, discovered that plasma is more elastic and viscous than B, and, like ketchup, its flow properties depend on the pressure it is under.
