Introduction The internetinternet has opened a wide space for people from different background

to come face to face and communicate their values.

People with strong knowledge in certain issues use the internet to clear things out and gain support for their stands.

Others use the internet to look for information about issues and people who have strong knowledge of what they are looking for – who support their views.

Future leaders/Opinion makers Leaders/Opinion makers have been using all kind of traditional media traditional media to

communicate their ideas and reach their supporters

Web 2.0 Web 2.0 allowed new generation of leaders/opinion makers to emerge on the web (message boards, email-groups, social networks, video and audio sites, blogs and micro-blogs).

Social Arena Social Arena would provide a new platform that is built on values/issues where people with strong passion for their values/issues would gather and share ideas, material and sources.

They can also go head to head in a challenging debate with people from the same or other arenas. Winners of debate challenges would emerge as new leaders.

Social Arena facilitates connecting leaders with their supporters. It allows groups to gather/share information in one place.

We will start with our group our group (25 young leader) and bloggers of our countries (Sweden, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Egypt) And then reach our desired audience by time.

Connecting Social Arena should provide users with easy connections easy connections to their other social

media networks sites. For instance, a blogger can easily connect his blog into his debate challenges.

All types of external channels external channels that are available can be connected to the friendly arenas, the debate arenas and the user profiles.

A debate winner will get a small icon indicating the he won a debate over a certain value/issue and number of votes.

A user winning several debates on a specific issue would be distinguished by the icons to be a leader.

Debaters should have authority over the comments of the other users/supporters of the debaters.

The social arena ‘Terms of Use’ should be in line with global standard of human rights.

Provide additional program to enable users to access the social arena if they face censorship (it will be mention in invitation and welcome message) .

The member will receive an e-mail about how he\she can access the web site if it prevented in certain area.

Finance

• Human Rights organization that are interested in freedom of expression for finance the design and structure of the site and poking it. (such as: SIDA ,Development Gateway Foundation,...ect)

• local organizations that work on human rights can put their advertising for money

• In the future we will depend on advertising based on the values and issues. In the Climate Change Arena for example electricity cars or weekend-travel with train.

Finally

We hope that social arena would raise freedom of expression, help people see different sides and develop their skills in using logical arguments that are based on facts.

It will also create a new landscape where people will be connected based on their values.
